The “True North Cabin Cookbooks” official launch is September 6. I have heard that the books are printed and I have seen one in my editor’s hands-on Zoom but I have yet to hold the baby myself. I am hoping to get an in-person glimpse next week.

As a subscriber of this newsletter, I will try and give you the first notifications of events and classes as there will be many opportunities for us to cook, visit and raise a glass of celebration as the cookbook launches.

September 18, at Cooks of Crocus Hills in St Paul on Grand Avenue I am scheduled to host a demo class from 5-7pm. We will dine together and Each participant will receive a copy of the True North Cabin Cookbook: Recipes and Stories from a Northwoods Table (value of $29.95). I’ll tell you cabin stories and I promise to make you laugh.
