As I was thinking of a title for my subscriber newsletter, I kept thinking of the song by Kris Kristofferson called “Sunday Mornin’ Comin’ Down,” and while I love the song, it’s not super cheerful - it’s a lonely song about a drunk, and my dad loved it. We would be streaming down 35W on my way to school in Downtown Minneapolis listening to this cassette tape, and I kept thinking of how sad Kris Kristofferson’s voice always sounded. I guess that’s why they cast him in the original “A Star Is Born.” I suspect he was playing a character very much like himself.

So until someone offers up something better, we will call this newsletter “Sundays with Stephanie” unless there is a clever wordsmith out there who wants to offer up a suggestion. I am all ears …
