Happy New Year’s Eve, friends and subscribers. I finally am feeling “back in the saddle” after being sick since 12/21. I was cleaning things up and getting ready to end my work week when I felt the crud coming on. I grocery-shopped and finished wrapping the presents, anticipating “going down” like the Titanic, and I was correct. 12/22 I cancelled my Trailer Trash Tickets. 12/23 I stayed in bed. 12/24 I canceled my Christmas Eve plans, sent Kurt to the party with 120 Swedish meatballs and artichokes, and stayed in bed. 12/25 I rallied to open gifts with a heated-up egg bake and a mask. I went back down from 12-5, and my family came at 6 while I stayed at the head of the table with a mask and was in bed again by 8:30. 12/26-12/28 I stayed in bed. I went to Wisconsin to see more family on 12/29, and guess what? They were all sick, too.

I am preparing for a healthy New Year's Eve and going to Puerto Vallarta, Mexico, for some sun and to knock this cold out of my lungs for good. (Please DM me if you have any fun PV restaurants)

All this to say - I hope you and yours made it through the holiday and are healthy, happy, and ready to usher in 2024. I know I am, but before we do, we have some business for subscribers

What are my top 10 recipes of 2023?
