In my life, I have had lots of moms who taught me a thing or two about cooking. My mom, Anne, was a really good cook who cooked Midwest favorites like I do today. Her specialties were fried chicken, Pot Roast, Gravy, Pork Roast, BBQ Meatballs, Chili, and Cherries In the Snow. Every night, we had a family meal that included meat, potatoes, one vegetable, and milk, always milk.
