We had the best time in Las Vegas at Adele’s 93 of 100 shows. She looked gorgeous and was dressed like Meryl Streep's character from the movie, “Death Becomes Her.” Meryl was with her daughter, actress Mamie Gummer. Like many of us, she seemed to be wiping tears from her eyes during “Easy on Me”.

I did not realize that Meryl is separated and has been for 6 years from her partner of many years, Don Gummer, who is the father of her four kids. I think its ironic that she stars in my two favorite divorce movies: “Heartburn,” written by the fabulous Nora Ephron and starring Jack Nicholson, and “Kramer vs. Kramer,” that I watched as a kid, knowing my parents were headed down that path.
