Sundays with Stephanie

A busy State Fair, Harvest Season and a few obsessions

You may not want to know that I write the “Sundays with Stephanie” Subscriber email in my bed, with a cup of coffee on Sunday Mornings. I have a few coffee drip stains on my white comforter that will become a Gray comforter as we transition into Fall. I love drinking a whole pot of coffee while working from my bed, but I only allow myself to do it on vacation or Sunday Mornings as it’s such a treat. Kurt brings me coffee by the cupful and always asks if I am comfy. Now, even Stanley knows the routine. First thing in the morning, I feed Stanley, let him outside, make the coffee, and then head back to bed. Stanley comes with me and snuggles up on his bed for another hour before he wants to start the day. This scene is happening at the Ely Hilltop Cabin, where my garden is located. The comforter is blue, but there are coffee stains from the same Sunday morning routine, and the view is better.
