Local Favorite: J. Carver

Explore tasty cocktails from the distillery in Waconia.

It’s a bit of an open secret that Waconia has become a fun food and drink town the last several years. The area features wonderful parks and Lake Waconia, and the recent boom of craft beer, wine and restaurants has made it a great place for a day trip or weekend getaway. One spot you can’t miss when visiting is J. Carver Distillery, which I recently visited with The Jason Show to learn about their excellent local spirits.

I was joined on my visit by Leah Treleven from Sweethaven Tonics, another of my favorite local brands, and we mixed up some tasty cocktails using J. Carver spirits and Sweethaven Tonic mixers. It was super fun, and you can learn more below and get a few tasty recipes!
