We’ve had our first weekend of nice spring weather! Those first warm days that chase away all but the biggest piles of snow are such a relief after the months of cold. How do you mark the occasion? Beyond the obvious shorts and T-shirts, I like to break out a few healthy recipes. It’s a nice respite after a winter of heavier comfort foods.
This past week, I made two new recipes that are sure to become staples. Plus, one of my favorite cocktails as a bonus. I started with an amazing Brussels sprouts recipe with goat cheese and lemon, then crafted a tasty roasted pear salad with caramelized honey pecans. These are fun and easy recipes that will have you thinking summer! And don’t forget the Maker’s Mark and ginger ale cocktail.
