Here is the answer:
The term “Dog Days” traditionally refers to sweltering and humid weather occurring during the summer months of July and August in the Northern Hemisphere.
As I write this, I am sweating my A** Off as the Loring Park Art Festival. I can concur these are the Dog Days of Summer! But the good news is … Summer! We have had so much rain this Summer its lovely to have a weekend where activities aren’t canceled.
